On-Location Portrait Photography

I offer relaxed, location-based portrait sessions designed to be efficient, enjoyable, and beautifully finished. My approach is simple: one thoughtfully guided hour, careful editing, and a generous gallery of images delivered digitally.

 

This model allows me to focus on creating strong, natural portraits while offering clients clarity, ease, and excellent value.

 

 

 

Portrait Session — 

$600

 

 

Includes:

 

• 1-hour on-location portrait session

• Ideal for couples, individuals, or small families

• Professional guidance throughout the session

• 30–40 fully edited, high-resolution digital images

• Editing includes color correction and light blemish (pimple) removal

• Private online delivery with print release

 

 

This session is designed to be unrushed yet efficient, producing a varied set of images suitable for printing, sharing, and long-term use.

 

 

 

Booking & Payment

 

 

• A $300 retainer is required to reserve your session date

• The remaining balance is due on the day of the session

• The retainer is non-refundable, but may be applied to one rescheduled date in cases of illness or severe weather, provided at least 24 hours’ notice

 

 

 

 

Image Delivery

 

 

• Final images are delivered via a private online gallery

• Gallery access is provided for 30 days

• Clients are encouraged to download and back up files promptly

• Long-term archival storage is not guaranteed

 

 

 

 

Turnaround Time

 

 

• Standard delivery: 3–4 weeks

• Optional rush delivery:

   

  • 2-week delivery: +$200

  • 1-week delivery: +$400

   

 

 

 

 

Additional Options

 

 

• Additional people or pets: $50 each

• Adult headshots added to a portrait session: $100

  (Includes up to 5 finished headshots; must be requested at booking)

 

 

 

 

Rescheduling

 

 

• Weather-related rescheduling is complimentary

• Other rescheduling requests may incur a $100 rescheduling fee to cover calendar disruption

 

 

 

 

Late Arrival

 

 

Sessions begin promptly to respect all scheduled clients.

Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time.

 

 

 

Agreement

 

 

Booking and payment of the retainer indicates agreement with the terms outlined above.

 

 

 

A Note on Locations

 

 

I work primarily in metro-accessible outdoor locations such as:

 

• The National Mall

• Bluemont Park & Rose Garden

• Neighborhood parks in Arlington and McLean

• Select areas of Bethesda and Washington, DC
